Following Joe

I haven't posted a skate edit in a while but this one I had to share. The editing is pretty cool, all the footage is spliced together giving the whole thing a one shot feel. Joe Pease kills it the whole time skating with everything with so much speed and style, check it out.

Chemin Vert

Giacomo Miceli documents a high speed trip across 5 continents and captures all four seasons. For most of the video the camera is moving at about 1000 mph, and in just a few minutes you get driven around all over the world. Definitely check this one out.

Temporal Distortion & The Tempest Milky Way

Randy Halverson shoots some of the best star time lapses out there. Space has always amazed me and this video does such a good job showing how many stars are out there. Our sun is one of billions, and planet earth is even more outnumbered. If such amazing life and landscapes are right here, I can't imagine what amazing things are out there. I'll post two of Randy's videos below. Enjoy.

Real Skifi Episode 4

Here's an episode from the second season of the finish webcast Real Skifi. The skiing is super creative and unique. Check this one out and you can find the rest of the episodes on Janne Korpela's Vimeo channel.

Midnight Sun | Iceland

Michael Levi spent 17 days traveling solo all around iceland during the midnight sun, in summer. Almost 24 hours of constant sunrises and sunsets makes for some amazing shots, my favorite at the one minute mark. Also check out this video for more arctic light.

In My Shoes: Kelly McGarry

This edit has it all, dirt jumps, steep chutes, some huge kickers in the woods, even a little speed boating. Really well put together and the jump park he rides is near perfect. It starts out a little slow, but gets good about a minute in.

"Summer School": Episode 1

Last summer K2 Skis put out a webisode series, here's their first installment. Featuring Shay Flynn, Clayton Villa, Collin Collins and friends at Windells huge summer park at Mount Hood, Oregon. Good tunes, and skiing in the summer sun. Check this one out.

100 000

The eDoggo crew flies over from Sweden and rides Breck for a few days. Featuring Joakim Rignell, Anton Jansson, Maximilliam Smith and Jacob Hyllengren Larsson. Everyone's got so much style the whole edits got good vibes.

The Blue Ocean in RED

This is Howard Hall's best of collection from 2011. It was filmed with The RED One camera so the quality is so good for underwater. Filmed in the waters of Maldives, Alaska, California, Cocos Island Costa Rica, Mexico and more. Watch out for the shot of a blue whale about 2 minutes in cause its fuckin sick. Enjoy.

VCA RACE RUN

While the VCA race course is far from anything you'd find on the world cup circuit, it's a crazy ride through the streets of Valparaiso, Chile. The guy in the video did not win the race, but still deserves credit for riding the course and capturing it on film for all of us to watch. This one's pretty sick, check it out

Nick Garcia from "Future Nature"

I haven't posted a skate edit for a while, so here's Nick Garcia killin it in Los Angeles. He skates everything with so much speed and has a sweet American flag hat, the two necessary ingredients for a nice skate edit.

Etnies released "Future Nature" at the beginning of this month, and the trailer was pretty sick, check it out here

Top 2 Bottom

Continuous shots are the best. It doesn't matter what sport it is, long shots just make for good flow. This edits only two shots, and Rob Huele links up some tricks for a pretty sick line. Check this one out.

The Water

Pretty short video filmed in the fjords and forests of Norway during the summer of 2011. I wish I could go to almost every hidden stream and waterfall in the video.

JP Auclair Street Segment

JP Auclair's urban segment from Sherpa Cinema's newish movie All I can is the best "down street" skiing I've seen. The intros long, but once you get to the action its sick. Not too many handrails, but a lot of creative lines and ripping through the streets of B.C. like you wouldn't think possible. Check this one out for sure. I'll post the teaser for All I can below.

Here's the teaser for All I can, the intros long on this one too but its not time wasted. Check it out for some cool nature shots, and of course a little skiing.

I Ride Park City: Episode 3

This edit's so damn good, and is probably my favorite of all the "I Ride Park City" edits. Chill song and sick riding. Dale Talkington opens the edit so well with his signature smooth style. Also featuring Colin Collins, Andy Partridge, John Ware, Karl Fostvedt, Nicky Keefer, Steve Stepp, Ryan Wyble, Tyler Barnes, Tim McChesney along with Park City All Stars Joss Christensen and Tom Wallisch.

Anthony Messere: 2 Edits
Anthony Messere is about fifteen in both of these edits, but he's riding at such a high level. Last summer, Anthony competed in his first ever Crankworx in Whistler, B.C. against the world's top professional riders, placing third at only 15 years old. It's insane how good this kid has gotten and how fast he's done it. It takes a passion for riding that is never quenched, a thirst to ride everyday, and he has it. And I guess a bit of skill, anyways very impressive overall. The first edit is filmed and edited by Nic Genovese, who does an excellent job.

Anthony Messere Fall Edit on pinkbike.com

This second edit is some extra footage tossed together for a quick edit, some of the tricks are pretty big and the riding quality as a whole is very high. Anthony is definitely someone to watch out for on the competition scene next year, anyways check this 12 shot edit out.

Anthony Messere 12 clips on pinkbike.com

RADEK DZWIGALA: SPRING 2012 PROMO

Here's an edit that came out in the last week featuring Polish rider Radek Dzwigala. Lovin the song on this one and its one of the few edits I've posted so far that have any plot to it, even if its just checking off the trick-list. Anyways check this shit out for a good watch.

Justin VDP Season Edit
Here's an edit of Justin VDP slaying all over the mountain, such a versatile rider. From backcountry to urban he can get it done. Some of the footage was featured in Outdoor Graduation, and Look on the Bright Side. Check it out.

Cole Drexler - Park City

Here's a sick video of Evan Heath following around Cole Drexer for a few hours at park city. The riding's so good, and as has been true for all of Evan Heath's new stuff the filming is flawless. Check this one out for sure.

Spring Blessington
Here are some spring shots from Mammoth, PWI, and WCI. Featuring Parker White, Chris Logan, Nick Miles, Kevin Malon. Really smooth style, and some nice rastafari-mahn music make for a sick edit.

TimeScapes

Here are some nice nature shots from Tom Lowe's film TimeScapes, filmed in the American Southwest. Some great shots of the stars and around 30 seconds in a sick shot of a waterfall.  Shot on Red Epic and Canon RAW so the quality is so good. Check this one out.

Justin Bayliss Back Wheel Living

Short edit of some manual lines, filmed by Cory Wiergowski. I love a nice line with a bunch of tricks in it and Justin has it. First shot is perfect, Check it out.

Look On The Bright Side Skate Re-edit
Some sick street and park skating with the Voleurz team. Featuring Tyler Holm, Corey Klim, Jan Schuster, Nick "Nugget" Moore, Cam Schuster, Kyu Tae Kim, and Clayton Uhlig.

Mark Matthews' Freeride Line
Chromag rider Mark Matthews finally gets to ride his masterpiece. After building this trail for 18 months, its finally looking polished and chromag hooked him up with a sweet edit. Check this one out, he's going pretty big, ripping through the forest.

Mark Matthews' Freeride Line - Sweat Equity on pinkbike.com
Boundary Waters 2011
Here's a chill video shot by Carl Martin on an eight day trip to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area Wilderness in northern Minnesota. Whole videos has a good vibe and the filming is pretty sick too. Some of the water shots definately done with Go Pro. Anyways, looks like a fun trip to go on.

Jakob Lundberg 2012
Jakob Lundberg has the sickest style out there right now. Making it all look so easy, throwin' switch tens both ways like it ain't nothing. Song's on point too, overall just a sick edit.

That's Fine skate re-edit

Here's some sick street skating shot in Vancouver during the summer of 2011. It's a re-edit of Voleurz's movie "That's Fine", which came out this year. Featuring Tyler Holm, Jan Schuster, Corey Klim, Billy Mitchell, Cam Schuster & friends. Enjoy.

Fails of 2011

Here's another crash reel from Voleurz, its got a bunch of skiing, snowboarding and even a little skating.  Check out their other crash reel from Look On The Bright Side here. Anyways these dudes have some huge balls hanging between their legs, check it out.

The Arctic Light

TSO Photography traveled to rchipelago Lofoten in Norway in late April and early May of 2011. Over the course of a few weeks he captured the arctic light, a spectacular phenomena where there are intense colors in the sky almost 24 hours each day. The sun barely dips below the horizon before it comes back up again.

Few Words Teaser
Candide Thovex's new film "Few Words" looks so sick. It's his first full length feature film and like for everything else he has accomplished, he pours his heart into it. He spent two years filming all over the world and it paid off, can't wait for the full film to come out in October 2012. Check this shit out.

John Morgan for Saga

John Morgan skates some really flowy lines at the Hood River Skatepark.

Deep Sea Hunting On One Breath
This is a pretty incredible video; Bajau fisherman, Sulbin, freedives to 20 meters to catch a fish as BBC Human Planet films it in real time. Don't know how he does it, but at least it was filmed so we can watch in amazement.
Bobby Sullivan Shreds Breck
Here's a sick edit of a friend of mine. Only sixteen years old and slaying. Definitely check this one out, filmed in one sunny day at Breckenridge, CO.

Talkin' Park feat. Giray Dadali
Giray Dadali has his tricks down and it is shown no where better than this edit by Tim Jones. Very technical edit at Park City, Giray spins every direction and proves that he can roll with the big dogs. Really well done editing and the voice over makes it that much sicker. Enjoy.

A Day In the Life: Clint Reynolds

I usually like day in the life videos and this one doesn't disappoint. He's got a pretty chill lifestyle and a sweet way to hook up his BMX bike to his motorcycle, and the riding segment is good as well. Clint kills it on some huge groomed dirt jumps. Big lines and smooth style make this a sick edit.

Phil Demattia - Welcome to Kink

Don't know how he does it. Phil kills it in this edit, greasing a quad kinked rail and ending the edit with a banger that you're gonna have to watch to appreciate. Light hearted music matches the overall feel of this this sick edit by Seventies Distribution.

STRANGER: ERIC BAHLMAN

Eric's style is so smooth in this one, great song too. Check out this edit by Stranger for some real tech tricks by Eric Bahlman.

Dale Talkington Summer Edit

This is the third Dale Talkington edit I've posted, maybe it's cause he's so damn good. Sam Erikson spends two days riding with Dale at Mt. Hood in July of last summer and the chill song and sun rays make for a sick edit. Check it out.

What's Next? Crash Reel

Aaron Larocque's produced his first film What's Next with essentially no budget, and with very little help. He was also nice enough to give it away for free, and you can watch the entire thing online:http://www.pinkbike.com/video/102556/. With any full length movie, comes an abundance of footage, here's some of it in the What's Next? crash reel...

DALE TALKINGTON RAINY DAYS

Another colab between filmer and skier Evan Williams and Dale Talkington. Very similar vibe to the Dale Talkington Spring Edit I posted earlier. Great style and sick tricks, even on the rainy days that the East Coast's unpredictably provides all too often.

LOTBS Bail Scenes

Bail scenes from Look On The Bright Side, a film from Voluerz. Some nasty, well documented crashes in here. Opening heli shot is so smooth.

Salomon Freeski TV: East Coast Rail Trip

Here's a sick urban edit shot in Boston, Ma featuring Sollomon riders Nick Martini, Alexis Godbout, and Matt Walker. Some great tunes to go along to some crazy rail game. Enjoy it.
UPDATE: For another Boston ski edit check out this segment from Weight by Stept Productions.

Etnies Team Trip
The Etnies Team pairs up with Blackout Distribution to create this edit showing the Etnies team trip to various skate parks and street locations throughout California. It's got a kinda long intro but some sick riding in it.

Dane Tudor - Man Made Winter & Switch triple cork

Wow. That's all I can say about this edit. First few shots off that wall ride in Breck are insane and of course, the switch triple cork. Filming's on point and the skiings is on a crazy level. Songs works well with the vibe too. Definitely check this one out.
Follow Me: Steve Smith and Brandon Semenuk
One of my favorite segments of all time. Brandon Semenuk and Steve Smith absolutely kill it on the dirt jumps and the downhill trails. Great song, great vibes, and one of my favorite cable came shots ever at about 2:20. As usual Anthill Films couldn't have done it any better. The whole movie, Follow Me, is a banger and you should check it out [http://www.anthillfilms.com/followme]. Anyways, enjoy this edit cause its fuckin' sick.

India : Oxelo Skateboards

The skatings pretty sick in this edit, but it also does a good job showing Indian culture. Someone always seems to be watching in amazement and cheering them on. Good vibes in this one.

A Walk in the Park - Tom Wallisch

Tom Wallisch, made famous by Level 1's super unknown contest, killed it this year on the competition scene bringing home golds all over the world. He also had some of the sickest edits including one of purely the famous "future spin". I'll try to find it and post it later. Anyways this is one of the sickest edits ever, the skiing is just so top notch, and once again Jiberish and Stept Productions are back at it.

UPDATE: http://www.newschoolers.com/watch/446009.0/Guacamole-Sundayze-Episode-6
^ The Tom Wallisch Super Spin Edit, check it out.

Coastal Crew Ep.1 - Saturday

Here's the first of I think ten webisodes that Coastal Crew put out starting about 2 years ago. It's a bit of a trailer for the entire series, but its very good. The Coastal Crew is world class filming and they are currently collaborating on their new film, From The Inside Out, with Anthill films. Anyways, great edit with good music and sick riding, enjoy.

Brighton Must Be The Place Part #3

Here's the first snowboard edit I'm posting, and its sick. It's the last day at Brighton and everyone kills it in the slush. Featuring: Jordan Morse, Alex Cato, Jesse Gouveia, Kevin Maples, Stefan Salisbury, Andrew Aldridge, Sean Whitaker, Chris Cloud, and Erik Nielsen. Check this shit out...

Dale Talkington Spring Edit

The original Dale Talkington Spring Edit. An East Coast classic filmed at Mt Snow and Okemo, Dale throws down tricks way ahead of his time including a super clean 540 switch up. Check it out, the songs bump too.

Danny Macaskill: Industrial Revolutions

Danny Macaskill went viral on youtube a few years back, and while that video was pretty cool, this one is on a whole different level. Cut Media did a great job capturing the crazy amount of skills Danny's got as a rider. Spoiler alert: the last shot is of a backflip to flat from 15ish feet. Check it out, its a good watch.

Joakim Rignell 2011 Season Edit

Joakim Rignell is part of the Edoggo crew, and absolutely slays, such style in the air and on the ground. anyways here's his season edit, tons of tech rail tricks making it all look so easy.

Weight: Ian Boll and Alex Martini

Here's a segment from Stept Productions ninth movie, Weight. I love this edit cause its got some great urban shots of Boston, which I live about 30 away from. Anyways, you'll enjoy it no matter where you're from cause its sick. If the video's not working, you can watch it and a bunch of other  edits by Stept Productions on their Vimeo channel: http://vimeo.com/40891100

Strength in Numbers High Speed Shot

Brendan Semenuk slays all that lies in from of him. Here you can relive 5 seconds of his life in about two minutes. This is a shot from Anthill films new film Strength in Numbers, I'll post the full trailer later, and so you can check that out. After their last movie, follow me, this has a lot to live up to, but I'm sure it will be sick.

Jiberish Welcomes Clayton Vila and Sean Jordan

When Stept Productions steps (pun) and makes an edit for Jiberish it usually is so damn good. It was true for their "A Walk in The Park" with Tom Wallisch, look for that posting later, and its true now. Such good style, Vila's got the hair spilling all over the place and Jordan's slaying as well.

West Coast Session VI: Team Yoke "Kill All Posers"

This edit was part of a video contest between 5 filmers during West Coast sessions in Whistler. Here's Shane McFall's edit featuring a whole slew of riders who bring a real chill, fun vibe to the edit. Between the follow cams and "behind the scenes footage", a really good edit.

ANTICIPATION Pt. 2

The mecca of mountain biking, Whistler Mountain Bike Park in Whistler, BC opens today, and while the snow is still on the ground after a long season of skiing, four dudes are out their shredding A-line. Crisp filming, flowy and fast riding.

ANTICIPATION Pt. 2 on pinkbike.com
